“My sister and I drove from FL to take Jessica’s tour, on a Monday. We were excited about seeing where our favorite show was filmed. Jessica is so sweet and fun, we had such a good time on the tour, it is very detailed and she allows for you take your time to get pictures, she even takes them for you. She knows all things TVD related, all the good behind the scenes info and tidbits.Although, they were not filming the day we took our tour, it was so great to see all the houses and locations, most I recognized right away! The Lockwood mansion is amazing and so beautiful, it is a must see to add on to your tour, do not miss it, I highly recommend it! If you are a TVD fan, you have to take this tour, it is so well worth it.We then later went to town and had some ice cream at Scoops, what an adorable place, the birthday cake ice cream is so good. The town of Covington itself is such a charming beautiful place, I fell in love with the town. I may just move there.Unfortunately, we had to get back the next day, but on our way out Jessica let us know about where they would be filming, my sister and I went and got some pictures, we did see all the production trucks out getting ready. They were gonna be filming the next day.Sadly, we could not stay till the next day. I will be returning very soon for another tour. My regret was not planning to be able to stay longer, next time I will be there for more than 2 days. All in all it was a great experience and wonderful tour, and it was so nice to meet Jessica, can not wait to do it again!”
“My friend Mel and I traveled from Melbourne, Australia to take Jessica’s tour of Mystic Falls, we met up with our tour group and were excited to learn where TVD was filming in town.
Jessica was amazing, she knows everything there is to know about TVD and she was more than happy to share information. Our tour ended in town, and Jessica told us to hang around as we might get the chance to see some of the cast and some filming. We went into Scoops and had Ice Cream (I recommend the Birthday Cake Flavor Ice Cream)
It was getting late and it looked like they were done for the day, just as we were getting ready to make our way back to the hotel a white van pulled up and out jumped Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, and Kat Graham.
Ian came straight over to the group of people waiting and happily posed for photos, signed autographs and chatted with the fans, even when his people told him he was needed, he didn’t leave until he had gotten to everyone, he was one of the friendliest people I’ve ever met and thanked me for coming from so far away and for supporting the show.
My only regret was i didn’t allow more days in Covington, we flew out the next morning and new friends we meet on the tour later told us the next night they got to meet, Nina, Matt, Candace, Ian and Kat.
This tour is a must for all Vampire Diaries fan’s.
Thanks again Jessica for a great day and for the highlight of my 5 week holiday, I will see you next year when I take the tour again.”

“To Jessica & Travis at Vampire Stalkers.
My wife and I traveled thousands of miles from the UK to take this tour and see Mystic Falls and we will do it again with our children when we are able too.
Travis and Jessica were fantastic, knew the sets, crew, gossip and Vampire Diaries inside out, if you are a fan of the show then a tour with Vampire Stalkers is an absolute must and we were even lucky enough to meet a Vampire and a Witch because of them!
Thanks a million Jessica and Travis”

“My daughter and I drove to Covington from Dallas the week after the end of filming Season 2. We knew ahead of time that we weren’t going to see any filming, but were extremely excited to see where our favorite show is being filmed. We got to Covington the day before our tour and stayed at the Hampton Inn right on the highway. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s very new and the people were great. The front desk person told us that the cast will stay there when they are filming late if they don’t feel like driving back to Atlanta. She said they were all extremely nice, which is what we expected. I requested the the “Damon Salvatore” room and she assured me I was getting it. This was a great start to our Vampire Diaries weekend. That night we did a little sight seeing on our own, which was fun but knew we would get a lot more information on our tour the next day and I was right.
We started off at the visitors center and went immediately to the square. All I can say is Wow!! There was so much filmed in the square and it all looks so familiar. You can drive around and see these things on your own, but it is not nearly as good as when you have someone there pointing out all the different places and reminding you which scenes were shot where. We saw the spot where Caroline was shot, the spot where Lexie was staked, the stairs where Damon bit the girl and where Stefan was brought after the device was set off and this was all in one block on the square. We sat on the bench where Damon was talking to Anna and the spot where Isobel and Nina met in the square. It was great because Dr. Gilbert’s office was still there from filming so we could peek in the windows. We saw the coffee house where the cast gets their coffee, and Scoops where they get their treats and also a lot of information about where the cast hangs out. This was all before we even left the square.
Next Jessica took us around town to see some of the different filming locations. We saw “Bree’s Bar,” Vicki and Matt’s house, Gram’s house, Isobel’s house and of course the Gilbert and Forbes’ houses. The house that was used as the flashback Lockwood mansion is the one they have talked about making into a bed and breakfast. You can look in the windows and it’s very recognizable from the flashback scene. We could see the stairs where Katherine was talking to the vampire and the front room is where Katherine was talking to George Lockwood. It will be fantastic if they make this into a B&B and we could actually stay there. We saw the spot where Isobel ripped off her necklace in the graveyard and you could see the house that is used as the site where the witches were burned. We even were able to look down at the spot where Damon and Stefan turned into vampires.
Of course the best part was going to the present day Lockwood mansion. The only way to get to see it is if you go on Jessica’s tour and it is so worth it. The owners of the house are so gracious and welcoming to VD fans. At the Lockwood mansion you can walk around the whole house. It was really fun seeing the front porch where so many scenes are filmed. Jessica will point out the spot where Katherine stabbed Stefan, where Elena came to the Masquerade party and grabbed Jeremy, the spot where Elena was while Katherine was trapped in the room. You can even see the window of the room where Katherine was trapped. We were able to walk down the stairs that Elena and Elijah walked down and all the Masquerade scenes were filmed. It looks exactly like it does in the show. Since the owners were there we were able to walk around the lake. Steven the swan is not too keen on visitors especially with his new babies, so it’s good to have the owners there to make sure he doesn’t get too upset.
The tour was the highlight of our weekend and made the drive from Texas well worth it. Just in case anybody is curious about the Salvatore mansion. We drove there on our own the day before the tour. You can’t see it. There is a gate and cameras and it’s on they said 45 acres and way back there. We drove all around the property and you can’t see it. Just wanted to save people a lot of time because it’s kind of far. We hope to be back next year because they are always adding new filming locations. It’s a wonderful tour and you really feel like you’ve been on the set. See you for Season 3!!
-Susan & Jennifer’s Experience (2011)
“If you have not had the pleasure of joining Jessica on a Mystic Falls tour in Covington, Georgia, as Damon would say, “Well, that’s unfortunate.” It really is because aside from seeing where your favorite show is filmed, Jessica has that small-town charm I am so accustomed to and you are sure to fall in love with. Jessica has a lot of experience with meeting the cast, working on set herself, and knowing where the filming locations are and what was filmed there. She truly loves sharing these experiences with her tour guests. Jessica provides her guests with not only the chance to see various locations, such as the Gilbert house and the Lockwood Mansion, but also offers plenty of interesting facts about filming in those locations that you would probably never hear about unless you were on the tour. Best of all, she allows plenty of time for you to take pictures and ask questions. The cast and crew were not filming when I went on my tour, but they were setting up when we drove by, so my friends and I went back later that night and the following night and were able to meet Ian and Matt.
My tour group was fortunate enough to tour the grounds of the Lockwood Mansion where numerous episodes have been filmed (Masquerade, Plan B, The Return). Anyone who knows me knows that Katherine is my all-time favorite character. So of course I would be excited to see where she stabbed Stefan on the Lockwood property. And of course I had to reenact this scene to show my love and support my favorite vampire. Unfortunately, Paul Wesley was not available, so I had to use my dear friend Sandra as my Stefan stand-in (I have included a picture). The visit to the Lockwood Mansion and reenacting one of my favorite scenes was just one of the many highlights of this tour. I definitely was not disappointed and even though I flew all the way from Seattle for Eyecon, this tour blew my Eyecon experience out of the water. Jessica truly wanted everyone to learn and have fun at the same time. She provided this experience in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. I could not have asked for anything more.
Thank you, Jessica, for such an amazing experience. Covington will always hold a special place in my heart because of you and the time and effort you put into making this tour memorable.
All my love and support,
One of the not so evil Kats,
Kathryn

“Dear TVD fans:
Let me just say that I love Covington, GA and the people in it! I have had the huge blessing of meeting people in this small town. I enjoy the close knit feeling that you get when you are in the town square stopping for coffee and/or ice cream at Scoops or getting a great sandwich at the Square Perk. These people take complete pride in their businesses and care about each other. That being said, I have had the unique opportunity to spend some time with my now dear friend, Jess, and her daughter Brannan.
I first met Jess last year when my husband, son, and I came down to GA to check out “where the vampires film.” At that time, Jess did not have her tour business yet, but she was doing her normal “vampire stalking.” As you all well know that when there is a closed set, no one is able to see anything at all. Even though that may be true, here comes Ian Somerhalder coming across the street to visit his “girls” almost killing himself in the process on a busy road. They were filming specifically “Blood Brothers” at the quarry. God Bless you Ian.
I actually saw this happening and couldn’t believe it. Shortly after that I met Jess later that day and told her that I saw this. We laughed about it, but honestly, I was amazed. It was a testament as to how much she cares about the cast and the people in it. She stood there in support of the cast a long time that day.
You see, I saw her website when she first started it, and it mentioned something like this, “People they really are that nice.” She was of course talking about the cast. There was something about the honesty in her blog that made me want to come to her town and see where our favorite people on the planet film this kick-ass show, The Vampire Diaries. I have never chased down any celebrities in my life. This was a first for me. Since that first meeting with Jess, I have come to Covington, GA many other times. Some of the times I saw and met the cast and other times I didn’t.
I can tell you that when I got lucky and did, they were just as I had expected: grounded, sweet, and real. They are gracious and beautiful people. Now I love the cast even more. They have no sense of entitlement about them at all. I understand why Jessica turned her obsession into a tour business. As fans, we share that passion with her too.
Even though I had been to Covington, GA a few times prior, I hadn’t yet taken my friend’s tour. On April 1st of this year is when I took my tour, and it was a beautiful sunny day. No one knows this town better than Jess. She will take you to all of the homes on the outdoor sets and share some funny stories with you. You will take a walk down memory lane with her concerning many events from season 1 and now season 2.
Honestly, I knew where many of the houses were before I took the tour due to my prior visits, but she still had so many new places to show me that I hadn’t seen yet. The absolute best part of the tour for me was the Lockwood Mansion. I love seeing old and new homes and their architecture. Jess has a friendship with the owners. By the way, I met them and they are just lovely people. I could have stayed there all day and read a book, walked around the grounds, or watched “Steven the Swan” who is now a daddy. One of the owners was there during the tour. He was so sweet, and I told him that I was genuinely happy for him to live at such a beautiful place. He told me that he does a lot of the grounds upkeep himself. People this is a lot of work. The grounds are gorgeous. If you think it is awesome on TV, you should see it in person. No kidding. No wonder the cast loves filming there.
We were busy on the tour, and I didn’t want to hold the man up from his work outside. However, I felt bad that I didn’t get to say thank you to him properly for him opening his home to the public. The next week I went to GA to watch the filming of the season finale. Ironically, both of the owners came over to Jess and I along with some other fans that were standing in the square. I thanked them for allowing us to come to their home and share in the beauty of it. Especially since it is where some of our favorite TV show is filmed. (Jess is the ONLY person allowed to take you to the Lockwood Mansion).
I could have just written simple facts about the tour, but that is not completely how I feel about it. I have been other places in the US and went on tours, and it didn’t mean anything. After leaving this place, you come full circle. It is an experience. If you get the chance, do the tour. You will have a blast and won’t regret it. You never know what will happen, but you just might catch some vampires running around. Jess doesn’t guarantee that you will meet them, but even if you don’t, it is still worth it to do the tour. If you are like me and enjoy movie sets, it is really cool to be simply “on the set.” Take a chance and do it. I know you get what I am talking about because just like me, you are a true fan of TVD.
Sincerely,

“To any TVD fan wondering whether or not it is worth it to take Jessica’s Mystic Falls Tours, let me just say, the answer is a resounding YES!!! If you love the show, you will love seeing the various houses and set locations used. It makes watching the show afterwards even more exciting to see the characters somewhere, and be able to say “I was there!”We even got to see some locations that were used in the last 2 episodes before they were aired, which was really cool. (The old witches burial ground house, and Isobel’s house). And you could not ask for a better tour guide than Jessica. She knows so much trivia and behind-the-scenes information, as well as personal anecdotes from the cast, she is like a walking encyclopedia for TVD! Not only that, but she is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever had the pleasure to meet. For each location we went to, Jessica patiently took pictures of our group with our 4 different cameras, plus the addition of a couple of camera phones at times. And we never had to ask – she would simply hold out her hands for the cameras each time.We did not see any cast during the tour itself, as they were filming at night when we were there. However, by using some detective work, we were able to find out where they were shooting, and we stalked the location set for 2 nights.
The first night we only caught glimpses of the cast as they left. However, the second night, Daniel Gillies (Elijah), stopped his car, rolled down his window, and spoke to us for several minutes. I was already a #TeamElijah fan, but this just cemented it even more – he is awesome!
Several other cast members either waved or smiled at us as they left. Ian Somerhalder waved, smiled, and blew us a kiss. Some friends and I are already trying to put together another trip later this year, when filming starts up again. And I would absolutely love to stay at the new bed & breakfast house, which was used in the show as the flashback Lockwood mansion! We’re working on it, Jessica – hope to see you again very soon! Thanks again for your wonderful hospitality.

“How could we describe the Mystic Falls Tour??? AMAZING, AWESOME, SPECTACULAR, and an absolute BLAST!!! She is absolutely amazing!!! She had amazing stories about the cast and filming. She knows so much cool stuff on the cast(Like their favorite ice creams and places to eat) We did not actually get to see any filming b/c unfortunately they wrapped season 2 the night we got there. But regardless it was amazing. All the houses and scenery. We had a blast. It was great to be surrounded by fans that love TVD. We hope to be coming back on May 14th, and then again when filming starts back up(hopefully we will have a Mr Somerhalder run in). I’m positive we will take this tour again. Vampire Stalking may just be a new hobby. lol Great Experience Thank you so much. Hope to see you again soon!!!”
“I took the Mystic Falls tour with my cousin and best friend this past October. We are all HUGE fans of the show and had the crazy idea of taking a road trip from College Station, TX (Whoop!) to Covington, GA. It was a loooong 14 hour drive, but so worth it! We took our tour around “Mystic Falls” on a Thursday and had a great time getting to see all the different filming locations.
Everything is so recognizable from the show! I loved hearing all of Jessica’s fun stories about her run-ins with the cast! After the tour ended, we went back to our hotel and watched the new episode of TVD that was airing that night. It was so neat to actually be in Mystic Falls while watching the new show! After the show ended, we just couldn’t sit still! After some intense googling, we found the address for where they film the high school scenes, which happened to be in a town about 15 min outside of Covington. So once again, we loaded in the car and took another short road trip! The next morning we started our journey back to Texas but not without taking yet another detour!
Thanks to our googling skills, we found the address for the “Salvatore Boardinghouse” location, which was a little ways outside of Atlanta. Unfortunately, we were only able to get pics of the iron gate at the entrance because it’s a private residence. But I still felt the presence of Stefan so the detour was worth it!! haha. We then started back to Texas. About an hour outside of Atlanta I got a phone call from Jessica (the wonderful tour guide), telling me that she had gotten a tip on the filming location in Atlanta!
We of course, made an immediate U-turn and headed back to Atlanta! A few minutes after arriving to the location we were STUNNED to see Uncle Mason walking down the street directly in front of us (this was after he had already been killed, so you can imagine the shock-value)! It took us a second to recognize who he was because he had on a cap and had short hair. Then we saw him pull up in his car and we yelled “Uncle Mason!!!” He rolled down his window & we asked if we could get a pic with him. He said “Sure, let me go park my car.” Then he threw it in reverse, parked, & made us 3 very happy girls!! He took pics with all 3 of us and signed our shirt “Long live Uncle Mason.” Then gave us a group hug and drove away. He was so friendly & even more handsome then he is on the show!
We waited a little while longer and one of the crew guys came over & gave us an invitation to a Halloween party for the next night that the cast was supposed to be at. Unfortunately, we had to get back to Texas so we didn’t go =( Before we left though, we saw Nina come outside and waved to us before she rushed back inside to continue filming. A few minutes later, she sent a security guard over to tell us that she was sorry she wasn’t able to come speak. I was so impressed with everything surrounding this trip! None of it would have been possible without the help of Jessica. We can’t wait to make another trip!! Thank you again Jessica!

“My weekend in MysticFalls!
My experience in Covington, GA was beyond amazing! Not only is Covington Gorgeous, but I got to experience The Vampire Diaries in a whole different light!
It’s like my Thursday nights coming to Life! From Mystic grill to the LockwoodMansion even Elena’s house, it was beyond amazing to be a part of the little town!
Out of this tour, not only did I gain a friend, Jessica, SHE was so knowledgeable and told bits and pieces of each scene every time we arrived in each location! Being
Such a fan of the show, I felt that my experience there was surreal and was so happy to be a part of it! Waiting for Jessica on the tour, I sat down in a delicious Thai
Restaurant on Covington square, and when I say delicious…it’s DELICIOUS! I find out later on the tour that it’s Ian’s favorite restaurant! Go figure J I recommend all
Vampire diaries fans to come out and take the tour! Believe me when I tell you, you won’t regret it! And this is coming from someone that drove 8 hours to site see!! Don’t miss
Out, its memories you will definitely cherish!”

Regina’s Experince:
October 9, 2010, Mystic Grill, High Noon……
When we arrived at the Mystic Grill, a young couple was sitting on the bench in front of the grill waiting for the tour. After making some pictures and chatting, we found out they had came all the way from Brazil for this tour. At noon, our tour guide’s Jessica and Brannan arrived. We began our tour by walking thru the square where some of the scenes have been filmed. Jess was very informative as she stopped at each site where a scene was shot, she would tell us exactly what the scene was about and who was in it. We were all remembering the shows in our heads and were like “WOW” this is where it happened. After that, we got in the car to go to other locations. We went to Gram’s, The Old Lockwood Home, The New Lockwood Home, The Gilberts, Vicki & Matt’s, Trudie’s, Cemetary, Bree’s Bar, Library, home where the Tomb Vamps stayed and site where “The Boys” were turned into Vamps. We loved the stories Jess told about meeting the cast members and how her & Brannan have been extras on some of the shows. Jess and Brannan are the luckiest 2 girls, ever!!! Jess was so sweet, offering to take our pictures at each site (we took her up on that offer)
Anyone who is thinking about visiting Covington should definitely take this tour. Jess can answer any question about the show or the cast that you might have and I am sure if she doesn’t know, she will be more than happy to find out for you.

Monica Cates Experience:
Mama, Sarah (my sister), and I started out on our trip to meet Jess on Friday at 5 a.m. driving form Alabama to meet her at 12. I thought we would get there just on time but we actually arrived a few minutes early and ran into Jessica outside the new coffee shop. A few minutes later our tour was in process. She took us around by foot to places like the Mystic Grill and told us about where scenes had been filmed and little stories we would have never known otherwise. She was very nice and made us feel very comfortable. After a few minutes we all got in her car and she took us to the Mystic Falls High School, where Stefan and Damon were transformed, and to Old Lockwood Mansion just to name a few places. She took us anywhere we wanted to go and then some. We all loved the tour very much! After the tour she said that she thought they might be filming today and so we headed up there to see if they were. Later she and Brannan met us and the Jersey group and we all stalked together! We laughed so much. Brannan was very sweet and had some funny stories as well. The mom from Jersey (couldn’t remember her name) had some pretty funny bear stories! After several hours Nina came down and talked to us for a couple minutes and signed a few autographs. She was so very down to earth and sweet. She didn’t have much time but she was so sweet to come down and meet us! A few minutes later Ian came down. He was very nice as well and joked with all of us fans. He got pictures will everyone and signed many autographs. Lastly,(but not least) Paul Wesley came out. He was very nice also and took pictures and signed autographs. When they signed my Nylon magazine Ian said it was worth more without Nina signing it and Paul said it was worth even more if he signed over Ian’s face or something like that. Haha. But Nina had already signed my other magazine that featured her that is out this month. When Ian signed my sister’s magazine he was asking her if she spelled Sarah with or without an h and she was like with. He said a few years ago I had a girlfriend named Sarah with an h… I might need to watch you. Lol.They were all so great to come down after filming for so many hours that day since they did not have to. It made me want to watch and support the show even more. I owe a BIG thank you to Jess for giving me the pics and things to get signed because I hadn’t brought anything and for the wonderful tour! I loved meeting the security guard named Tamisha. She was so wonderfully nice and funny!
Loved her!

Jersey Girls Experience: (this is what we call our new friends!)
Hello my name is Kathi Zigarelli and I wanted to share with you one of the best experiences in my life! I recently took a tour with my daughter Alexis (13 1/2) and her best friend Kathryn and a great friend of mine Jenna with Jessica at the vampire stalkers who I would like to say is now a great new friend!! Lets start with the 4 of us girls decided to take a road trip down to Georgia which I might add was a 15 hour drive.. all of which was sooo worth it !! We set out on our adventure on wed to get their by wed night . We arose bright and early and roaring to go on Thursday morning to go meet up with Jessica. She was waiting for us outside the mystic grill and we began our tour. She showed us around town at all of the filming sites and what was filmed here and there and all the little tidbits from the show that we could all relate to as we are AVID fans! After we went around on foot throughout the town we headed off in the truck for a driving tour of all the houses and locations that they filmed at from Elana’s house, to the vampire house where the tomb vampires were housed, to Bonnie’s grandmothers house, to where the Salvaore brothers had a seen in a flashback, to the lockwood mansion. IT WAS AMAZING!! We ended our tour by going to a little pizzeria and then to scoops the most amazing candy store (which Ian and the crew frequent all the time) on earth!! after Jessica had given us a tip to where as to where they may be filming over in Atlanta GA , so we loaded up and headed on over. Well low and behold there was the set up and running and filming. The girls and I took up camp and met the nicest people there, a security guard who I will remember forever who will remain nameless:o) After a fun day of hanging and waiting 2 catch a glimpse of the cast out came Nina! In all her gorgeousness sweet and so cool , she was easy to talk to and when she heard how long we had driven just to see her she was so great full (as were we for her time and kindness after a long day of filming to take the time to see us) she took pictures and signed autographs and was all around GREAT!! We were so happy to have met her she’s even prettier in person and has a great personality to match! We headed back to the hotel on a happy high from the evening and had a mission for the next day as they were filming and we were told it would be a full set !! We almost couldn’t sleep we were so excited ! We headed out the next day back to set and set up camp again, only to get our first glimpse of Ian and Paul (and what a glimpse it was!!) so we knew we were in for a memorable day ahead. Later that afternoon we met up with Jessica and her fabulous daughter Brannan whom we all clicked with instantly!! We had so many laughs and told stories ( I shared some new jersey bear stories with them they found hilarious) and also met up with some other girls from Alabama. Well the evening then became complete when again Nina walked out to throw us a quick hello and thanking us for our support again. We waited paitienly and soon enough right before our eyes Mr. Ian Somerhalder !! He walked over and said “Well hellllo ladies ” and we all nearly melted. He walked right up to us and the conversation couldn’t have been easier, he was so down to earth and he hugged and gave us all a kiss he was so amazing its hard to even describe! He took pictures and signed our sweat jackets and calendars and everything! My daughter told him how she wanted to be a vet and he gave her a big hug and a kiss and said for her to follow her dreams and keep up the great work in school and to keep on reading . She was practically breathless (as were we all) he then turned to me and said ” Hey there Mama your the best driving these amazing young ladies to come see me on a 15 hour car ride” and then kissed me on the cheek !! yes ladies he kissed me ! OMG I almost died..you will see from the pics he was so gracious that he spent almost 15 minutes or so with us after a 14 hour day filming. As all this was going on much to our surprise Paul came out and right up behind Ian and said “hello ladies heard you drove in from New jersey to see us and didn’t want to miss ya! ” As Paul is a native New Jerseyian himself we all talked about where he came from and he new exactly where we drove down from ..he was so nice and soo sweet it was unimaginable! He took pictures with us and signed all our stuff and was so easy to talk to as well.. after we were all sitting on cloud nine and it felt as though it were a dream we were all saying our good buys when Ian said to us,” One more group hug from my Jersey girls” and hugged us all at once it was so awesome!!! As he was walking away he turned and said “you ladies have a safe trip home ok!” as they walked away you had this feeling as though wow did that really just happen ?!?!? Paul had to drive by us on his way out and stopped the car right next to us and said the same as Ian ” Hey make sure your care full on your trip home, and how he missed Jersey and to take care!” Sooo 3 well 4 cast members in 1 night couldn’t have asked for more !! (we also met a new character on the show ..so cute ) WHew there are no words to describe it really…
I have to send a BIG shout out to Jessica for helping us to experience not only the filming aspect because the tour was spectacular, but for making it so easy to make great new friends that I hope we will be for a very long time..
Jessica you are the best and hopefully we can stalk together again someday and maybe even witches next time! Please tell the cast thank you again from your stalking buddies from New Jersey and that we miss them already. MWAAA !! Miss you guys talk to you soon !! XOXOXOXOXO

Your New Jersey Stalking Girls !!
Jeanettes Experience:
I recently went on a tour with the vampire stalkers. Jessica who runs the tour was a pleasure to meet. The filming is done is a town called Covington in Georgia. It is a small town with beautiful landscapes and homes. She had us meet her at the first stop which was yes the MYSTIC GRILL. I was thrilled and excited. Jessica not just took us to the sites but told us what scenes were taped at each location and the background behind the town. She graciously took my picture at each of the sites and told me her own personal experiences with cast members. We made many stops and was thrilled to learn that we were the first to see the mansion that it being used as the old lockwood estate in an upcoming episode. Jessica made me feel welcome and right at home. I absolutely loved the tour and would recommend it highly if you love TVD. While Jessica let’s you know ahead of time that she can not guarantee you will see or even meet the cast. I had the pleasure of being their when they were in town filming. Jessica graciously allowed me to stalk with her and I had the best results. I was able to meet a few cast members. I met Candice Accola (Caroline Forbes), Steven R. McQueen (Jeremy Gilbert), Zach Roerig (Matt Donovan) and Kat Graham (Bonnie Bennett). They were all very kind and gracious stopping to take pictures with each of us and making sure we all got one. Steven was kind enough to come out twice because I missed him the first time and Candice stopped even though she was pressed for time. Zach was so kind making sure we all got pictures and talking with us but one of the cast took it a step further and invited us for ice cream the next day at Scoops the casts favorite place to get sweets. I got their with the others and in walks Kat Graham. She sat across from me and was so sweet and kind, even took our picture and tweeted it. This experience was priceless. I had a great time and would do it all over again. Many thanks and appreciation goes out to the vampire stalkers for whom none of this would have been possibly. Thank you again Jessica and the vampire stalkers.

Wright’s Experience:
The fictional world of Mystic Falls is brought to life by a small town in Georgia by the name of Covington. It’s small town look and picturesque landscapes make it a perfect setting for the filming of The Vampire Diaries, and Vampire Stalkers have created an unforgettable tour that takes you to every place in Mystic Falls that you could dream of visiting… plus a little extra. My friend and I left early one morning to meet Jess to take our tour. We were excited upon our arrival when we found out that we would begin our tour at the perfect beginning location: The Mystic Grill! Jess was very accommodating, offering to take pictures for us at every stop we made and also driving us around town. Another unique quality to the tour is the stories Jess has to share. She shows her love of not only the wonderful show that is Vampire Diaries but also her love for Covington. She truly wants her customers to have a great time and it shows through all the hard work she has done to put this tour together. I give this experience a five star rating and recommend the Vampire Stalkers Tour for any die-hard Vampire Diaries Fan.

I can not go without commenting on how great the Vampire Diaries Tour is with Jessica from Vampire Stalkers. My friend Theresa and I live in Newnan, GA and had wanted to take the tour for a while. We live just about an hour away from Mystic Falls aka. Covington, GA. We arrived a little early and waited for Jess at the famous Mystic Grill. Covington downtown is very pretty, and the perfect place for the backdrop of The Vampire Diaries. Our downtown in Newnan is similar to Covington, but I have to say Covington might be cooler than our downtown. Not to mention it has a few vampires running around, so that’s a plus right off the bat
The tour started off with a nice walk around the square. Jess had a ton of stories about what’s been filmed here and there. It was very cool to put together scenes with the spots Jessica was pointing out. Plus the added bonus of Jessica filling us in on where some of the cast likes to eat and eat. Next, we all hopped into Jess’s car and began our tour of different filming locations. The homes in Covington are very beautiful, as is the scenery. While going from each location Jessica shares lots of stories from when she was an extra, to what she knows about filming, to some funny stories about the cast. The tour is non-stop with goodness. She was always happy to answer any questions we had about Mystic Falls, or the cast.
One of our stops was the beautiful home that was used for the Flashback Lockwood Mansion, it was amazing. We were able to walk up to the porch and peek in the windows. I think my other favorite location was the house that was used for the Tomb Vampires, not so much the house, but the long driveway lined was trees. It was amazing, definite photo op there! Every spot you visit, Jessica can tell you exactly what was filmed there, and pretty much the exact spot. Overall, every spot on the tour is great. They weren’t filming that day (due to our lovely weather here in Georgia the day before). We were hoping to see the cast filming, but even so… it was a wonderful day!
This tour is a must for any Vampire Diaries lover, its well worth every penny. Jessica is a great tour guide. I’ve taken a few set tours out in Los Angeles, and hers hands down beats theirs. She and the tour are quite impressive. So if you are visiting our state, make sure to check her tour out, you will not be disappointed. Thanks again Jessica for the wonderful tour, your great stories, it was beyond fun! I will definitely recommend your tour!

Awesome!!
My Aunt Gloria and I went on the tour and it was awesome. Amber was our guide and she was great. She did an awesome job and had such a great sense of humor. I would definitely recommend it.
My day in Mystic Falls
Me and a friend of mine traveled down the east coast in the beginning of the year. And there was one stop a little further into the states that we defenetly wanted to make: Covington, GA!!
And let me tell you…..it was the right decision!!! We saw every important place from the show like Mystic Grill, the alley, Elena´s house, the Lookwood Mansion (oh my what a backyard!!!!), the cemetery, Bonnies house, Carolines house, and even a few places that where new for season 4.
Also we got to Covington 2 days before they filmed the crossover episode for “The Originals”……bad luck right?? NO WAY;) A little birdie told us where there would be filming and we tried our luck…..it was a very long day (we waited till 4am) but it was worth it, because we got to meet Joseph Morgan!!! It was so much fun to watch the show being fimled, there is so much going on behind the scenes, you will not believe it until you see it for yourself! The crew was soooo nice, they even brought us coffee:)
Our group at the Mystic Falls Tour was nice and small, so everyone had time to take their pictures:)
After the tour we went to eat some spaghetti and meatballs at a little bar where the cast likes to hang out (sooo good, and everyone is so nice!!)also we went to SCOOPS a place where you have to go…..its so good!
All in all it was a perfect day, even when it was extremely windy….but hello…..me and my friend loved it in Covington aka Mystic Falls!
A day on set
Me and my mom went to see all of the great places where they film on the Vampire diaries. Fortunaly we live in Decatur GA so we were close to the set. Unforunaly the cast was not filmng that day in covington but they were on the stages. Jessica was our tour director. She everything there is to know about the vampire diaries. She and her husband travis were great. They were so nice and informed us on anything. I loved the Lockwood mansion. We got to see the back yard and meet the swan steven. It was so fun!!!!! i would defently recomend it. It is totally worth everyhing!!! I might go back we i get a chance!!!
Love
The tour was awesome, Jessica was awesome! The Lockwood Mansion was my favorite part! This is a tour you must go on!
Fangtastic!!!
I went with my friend Michelle, and we came from Tennessee. It was totally awesome!!! We saw so many of the “Major Locations” that are filmed on The Vampire Diaries! Jessica and her staff were so great and informative and very helpful when it came to taking pictures. I was very impressed with the tour locations and with the tour it’s self! I highly recommend that everyone and anyone that is a Vampire Diaries FANATIC like us should definitely check this out. I can assure you as far as the tour goes you will not be disappointed! I also recommend trying the Scoop ice cream shop, it’s awesome!!! The only thing that would’ve made this trip any better would’ve been meeting the cast. But all around great experience! ^_^
Always Great!
I live North of “Mystic Falls” and I’ve been on the tour twice. I frequent there on my own, but it’s not as fun as doing the tour with Jessica and her husband! I learn more and more about Mystic Falls every time that I go. These tours are fabulous and when you have 2 nice people with wonderful personalities that run the tour what more could you ask for?? I will be coming back to see you again very very soon, maybe even this week :) My suggestion to anyone that loves The Vampire Diaries, make the trip here, it’s well worth the money and the souvenirs are great as well. Of course seeing Ian or any of the cast would be wonderful too, but hey, even if you haven’t met any of them (such as myself) the tour is well worth it!!!
Birthday trip
My cousin and I drove from Massachusetts down to Covington a good 20+ hour drive for the tour and it was WORTH IT!!! I had an absolutely fantastic time!! I wish jessica hadn’t hurt her leg…but then again we might not have met her funny Husband Travis. The pair of them were entertaining…full of information not only about the show but also the local places you might bump into a cast member. The tour was amazing and a good amount of stops. Amazing that most of the places you visit are actual places you see on the show time and time again and not sets! The whole town is fantastic!!! The tour was fun and personal jessica and travis made sure we knew alot about the places we visited and they interacted with us…i have a few photos with them…it made the trip that more special!!!! They even had us ride in their van for more “inside scoop” the ONLY two bummers of the trip were 1) NOT SEEING THE CAST….but i know its never a guarantee …but a bummer all in the same…..and 2) the bracelet I had bought and adored broke 3 days later : (( but all in all the WHOLE TRIP WAS WELLLLLLLLLLL WORTH IT!!! i hope to go back asap!!!!
WOW!!!!
Me and my mum — huge huge huge fans of TVD — were amazed to actually get here at first. We had been stuck in NY with the hurricane in October and missed our Tour but Jessica kindly rearranged for us to come the day we were flying back to the UK so we didnt miss out!!
It was amazing!! It was so surreal being in the square after watching the series so many times! Wow! Got so many great photos! Loved the houses – the Lockwood Mansion was fantastic – so beautiful!! – thanks so much to the owner for helping show us around!!
Loved seeing the Gilbert house – it was great having a photo on the porch — big Delena fans!!
Thanks so much Jessica for helping us out and and giving us the best end to our holiday!!!! Will definitely will be revisting. Hopefully to catch EyeCon next year and maybe stay in the new B&B for a tour.
Hopefully we will see some filming next time :) would love to meet the cast, especially our Ian!!!!
I am very Lucky to have been born and raised in Covington, when you live here, you never actually think of the town as famous, but its always fun to go to scoops (the candy store on the square) at night, set on the porch and watch them film :) Covingtomn really is a wonderful place!
Great Tour 10-22-12
My friend and I drove the 9 hours from Illinois to Covington to go on the tour. I am completely obsessed with The Vampire Diaries so when I came across Mystic Falls Tour, I knew I had to go! Jessica knew everything TVD related. From where the cast likes to eat to where Nina gets her nails done. She took us to Mystic Grill, everyone’s houses, the cemetery, and my favorite, the Lockwood Mansion. I was pretty excited to learn we actually got to go on the property where the Lockwood Mansion is. The guy who owns it was there and was really nice. She was nice enough to take everyone’s pictures in front of the sites. The TVD cast was filming all the week before so we missed out on seeing them when we went, but I still had just as much fun. I recommend anyone who loves TVD to go on this tour! It’s a perfect trip to take with your girl friends! I’m hoping to go again!
