Celebrate Halloween in Mystic Falls!
Thursday October 30th will be Halloween in Mystic Falls!
LIVE screening on the Covington Square of that weeks Vampire Diaries episode. We plan to have the big blow up screen on the square, you will want to bring a chair or blanket. (Vampire Diaries usually airs at 8:00pm we hope to air the episode at 8:00 but if its not dark we may delay a little bit.)
Screening is a FREE event and everyone is welcome.
Many local businesses plan to offer specials and discounts so the fans can enjoy all the awesome things that the cast of Vampire Diaries enjoys when they are in town. I will post a schedule and more details as we get closer to the date...for now just make sure you have added the date to your calender and plan to come see us here in Covington aka Mystic Falls!
The fun part about watching the episode in Mystic Falls is you can be right where the show was filmed watching it with lots of other fans. We plan to have several contests, raffles and even some cool scene re-enactments with all you guys. I love to see all the fans interact and become friends. The cool part about doing it on Thursday means you can have a grownup Halloween event here and still make it home to be with your kids when they go trick or treating on Friday.
Our Covington Tourism department plans to have a cool contest and give away the "Ulitimate Mystic Falls weekend" very soon, this contest will run from Oct. 1- Dec 31 2014. In order to be eligible for that contest all you will need is a reciept showing you spent the night at any Covington hotel between the dates of Oct 1- Dec 31. All the details of the contest will be announced during the event. ( Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn express offer a discount to our tour guests. So make sure you let them know you were referred by Mystic Falls Tours.)
Mystic falls tours plans to offer a morning Vampire Diaries tour and an afternoon Originals tour for you on Thursday and Friday that week. We hope you will join us for a tour while you are in town for the screening. We hope you enjoy all that Mystic Falls has to offer! Fingers crossed and maybe we will see some filming that week to!
