Mystic Falls Tours is following strict guidelines set-up for COVID-19. We are now in Phase 2 of the CDC recommendations and following all guidelines as set forth by Governor Brian Kemp in Executive Order 04.23.20.02.

 

Phase 2

 

• We are sanitizing our store, sign-in area, golf carts, trams and any other areas frequented by patrons within the guidelines of the CDC regularly.

• We are providing hand sanitizer upon arrival and you will be REQUIRED to use it before signing in for your tour and throughout the day as needed.

• Masks are now REQUIRED during portions of the tour and highly recommended by the CDC. Please remember we are a tourist destination and this means guests could be from other places with a higher impact from COVID-19.

• We will be enforcing a strict NO TOUCH POLICY. As much as we usually love hugging and shaking the hands of our guests at this unprecedented time we are unable to. This policy also applies to devices and guides will not be able to handle your phone/camera to take photos for you as we have done in the past. You will be able to take your own pictures as much as you would like.  Please respect the well-being of other tour patrons and refrain from engaging in taking photos with their devices/cameras for them. (No video is permitted for any reason on our tours)

• If anyone in your group is showing any signs of illness please call to reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. However, if you are sick the day of your tour please call us immediately upon noticing. If you arrive for your tour sick you will NOT be allowed on the tour and you will NOT be refunded. We withhold the right to request a temperature reading with you with our no-touch infrared thermometer if needed to insure the safety of other guests and staff.

• Currently for Phase 2 of reopening tours we will be doing smaller group sizes. Our maximum amount of guests will be smaller than normal to ensure social distancing in between groups that have not been sheltering in place together.

• Please bring your own pen if possible for signing in to help the spread of germs.

• ​Please note due to Covid 19 any tours booked do have the possibilty of being cancelled or rescheduled due to rain/storms or acts of God. Sanitation efforts cannot be performed correctly if it is raining. Masks also cannot get wet. If there is a chance of this we will email you a notification while following the local weather resources we have available to us. This decision is based on all of the above and at the discrection of the tour guide staff.
